Security at the Toyota Center pushed all the fans away from the driveway where Paul's Lexus would arrive. After several moves the fans wound up a block away from the entrance. When fans asked why, security apologized and said, "Tonight you are not allowed to stand by the entrance."

The Lexus drove in at 5:15 pm and Paul waved to the crowd. Some younger fans started running towards the car but didn't make it that far.

Songs heard at the sound check:

"Honey Don't," "Midnight Special." Winners from a local radio station contest were let into the sound check.

The sound check ran late and consequently the doors opened late. Security did not allow large signs, backpacks or large bags. Many fans smuggled signs in.

The audience was very enthusiastic though they took a little time to get started. Paul was very interactive with the audience all night and the band was HOT!

Rusty got a few giggles when he yelled "Hello, Houstonites", since the people of Houston are called Houstonians.

The band did the "Foxey Lady" jam after "Let Me Roll It" but there as no "Baby Face" intro to "Hey Jude."

Rusty got a few giggles when he yelled "Hello Houstonites!" since the people of Houston are called Houstonians. He
read a fortune cookie which said, "Where there is a will, there is a way - in bed."

During "English Tea" a sign was held up with drawings of a tea pot, a cup of tea, and two McCartney roses. It said, "Any Day Love! P.S. I prefer Tequila." Paul noticed the sign and few songs later he came over to the sign holder and motioned that he wanted that 'tequila' drink (Congrats to Elsa Buckingham)

After "English Tea," Paul mentioned that he had awakened the astronauts last week with that tune and it was about the time "right now" that they should be getting up!" [points up to the heavens]

Macca did four reprises to "I'll Follow The Sun."

Paul was visably moved by the crowds reaction to his "moment of remembering loved ones - John, George, and Linda." The ovation lasted so long that Paul welled-up with tears and said, "Wow Texas! That was just beautiful."

After "Follow Me" Paul said, "Houston, this is just for you!" and launched into "Midnight Special." When he sang the lines, "If you're ever in Houston, you better act right. You better not gamble, and you better not fight...," the audience gave a huge cheer. The jam in this song was pure country rock. The crowd roared with delight and clapped along as the house lights were turned up.

Right after "Good Day Sunshine" Paul said, "We have a big surprise for you tonight!" Out came the Discovery crew all dressed up in their blue NASA spacesuits. There were at least seven and Paul introduced each one of them by name. The crowd went wild and gave them a rousing standing ovation that lasted a few minutes. Paul said, "It's just incredible that they could be here tonight. What an honor... Wasn't that something?" Paul was blown away by the astronauts and said many times that it was "incredible" to have the shuttle crew there. Paul and the entire band shook hands with the astronauts. After they left the stage, Paul said, "And YOU think you've come a long ways!"

Macca's eyes widened as he gazed at a hand-drawn sign held during the song with a sun that had a likeness of his face in the middle. (Congrats to Elsa Buckingham)

Paul acknowledged all the Wings hand signs from the audience during "Band on the Run."

When Paul performed "I've Got A Feeling," several fans sitting together coordinated holding signs that said, "Oh Yeah" and "Oh No." During the 'heat of the moment,' some signs were held upside-down or with the wrong words at the wrong time. Paul noticed and started laughing along with those sitting near the sign holders. (Congrats to Eri Kitamura from Osaka, Japan and Elsa Buckingham.)

Near the end of the concert Paul acknowledged a group of people in the balcony holding a huge white banner that read, "New Orleans Loves Paul." Paul read it out loud and said, "We send our love to New Orleans." He got cheers and hoots from the people in the balcony.

Right before Paul left for the first encore someone tossed a pink "I Love NY" monkey onstage. The stuffed toy landed between two amps and Paul went over to retrieve it. He looked at me the person who threw it and said, "For me?" He got a nod "Yes" and waved, walking off with the monkey. (Congrats to Elsa Buckingham)

Paul teased an audience member by offering him his Hofner bass (NOT!) and holding it out to him where he was sittng in the front row. (Congrats to Wayne Baker)

At the end of the show someone threw a green, big eyed, stuffed frog wearing a red Santa hat (Congrats to Lisa Tonguis). It landed on the stage at his feet and he picked it and held it by the tip of it's Santa hat. Paul waved it at the audience several times and left the stage with it. He also picked up a teddy bear.

Autographed by Paul:

Paul signed several items including a Club Sandwich (Congrats to Wayne Baker), a Beatles 1962-66 Red album, a "Blackbird Singing" book. (Congrats to Lisa Tonguis)

Signs in the audience:

"Froggo Rocks" acknowledged by Paul with a thumbs up (Congrats to Sherry Childress and Charles Heard), "Once again your music helped me through the CHAOS" which got a wink from Paul (Congrats to Lisa Tonguis), "¡Bienvenido a Casa Amor!, Welcome home love!," "Follow Paul," "Too Much Rain touched my heart," "Peradventure you will come back to Japan?" "U - R Always the Best," "You Rock 'US' out of our sockets," "Rocking with you is MCCANTASTIC," a pink heart with the writing: "Paul + Heather and Bea," "Wings shall forever fly" (with the Wings logo), "Beatles Fab 4-Ever," "Follow Me (with footprints) followed by another sign (with more footprints) that said: "...To New Orleans," "Your music gets me 'Hi, Hi, Hi!" "Had a Blast in space with you!" "Rusty's cool!" "Thank you guy!" "Texas is McCartney Country" acknowledged by Paul (Congrats to Michelle Sawyer), "Forget 64 - I'll Always Need You," "Beautiful Night' in Houston," "The Glastonbury Three Are Back on Tour " (Paul motioned for the sign to be raised so he could read the bottom line and then he smiled and winked), "The Glastonbury Three With You All The Way to LA," a Wings' banner in the front row."10," "Pick Me!"

After the show which ended around 11:20, Paul and his entourage returned to Four Seasons Hotel. There were about 30+ fans waiting out front. Paul stepped off the tour bus wearing a white shirt, a tan suit jacket and slacks. He waived to the crowd and gave the "thumbs up" as he entered the hotel through a special door off the main entrance. Paul and the band partied until the early morning hours in one of the hotel restaurants with very tight security.

November 20 - Dallas, TX - American Airlines Center

Paul and his Lexus motorcade arrived at the American Airlines Center around 5:15 pm straight from the airport. Paul flew in directly from Houston. Macca waved to fans while he was on the cell phone talking to DJ's Bo and Jim from 92.5 KZPS Classic Rock. Paul yelled, "HEY! Rock and Roll!" as the car drove by.

Songs heard at the sound check:

"Honey Don't," "Honey Hush," "Too Many People," "Coming Up," "All My Loving," "C Moon," "Things We Said Today," "A Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On," "Celebration," "Midnight Special," "Mass-sage Song" ( lyrics were, "dub-dub-dub-give me a rub, dub-dub-dub-get into the tub"), "Lady Madonna" (on the psychedelic upright piano).

There were a total of 20 people for the sound check. Most were radio contest winners and six women who were model-types dancing in front of the stage.

DJ Freelance Hellraiser mixed a variation of his usual McCartney samples with famous cover versions of Beatles/McCartney tunes such as Jimi Hendrix's "Sgt. Pepper." About two-thirds of the way through his act, he switched to the Twin Freaks McCartney mash-ups.

Paul and his band rocked 20,000 at the sold out American Airlines Center. Macca was not as in good voice as he was the night before in Houston though he was able to belt out the rockers without no effort. "Hello DALLAS! Hello Texas!" said Paul.

During "Till There Was You," a fan held up a sign with "kissing lips" that had blinking lights. It looked like the lips were blowing a kiss! After the song the fan put the "blinking lips" panel to her lips and blew Paul a kiss. Macca looked at the fan and said, "Here come the smooches!" and giggled! (Congrats to Lisa Tonguis)

Paul did "Foxey Lady" after "Let Me Roll It," but no "Baby Face" intro to "Hey Jude."

During "Jenny Wren" the audience was not as quiet as at other shows. Paul sang the song softly straining on the high notes.

At the beginning of "English Tea" Paul saw a sign in the front that read, "TEA FOR TWO?" with a teacup and flower. He pointed to the sign holders and did his usual question, "Would you care to sit with me, for a cup of English tea?" He motioned for them to join him. All in jest of course. (Congrats to Sherry Childress and Charles Heard)

When Paul was talking about reading signs, someone held up one that said, "I came from Hamburg to see you." Paul read it out loud and added, "...and I'm glad you did!"

At the beginning of "I'll Follow the Sun" Paul added a countdown saying "One, two, three and a bit." He did five reprises.

Paul got very teary-eyed during the 'moment of appreciation' for John, George and Linda. He pointed to the sky and closed his eyes as the audience cheered. Right after that he dedicated "Follow Me" to "my beautiful wife and baby girl who just turned two."

Midway through the show, Paul spotted someone in the front row eating a bucket of popcorn mainly because the crowd was going nuts and this guy was munching away at his popcorn. "There's a guy down here in the front row eating popcorn. [audience howls with laughter] And that's making me REALLY hungry!" [audience is clapping]

The man held his popcorn box up to Paul who shrugged and said, "No, I mustn't." The man still offered. "Just mustn't," said Paul. The man insisted and Paul reached down to get the popcorn box that was passed forward. Paul dug in taking out a handful to eat. The audience erupted with laughter and then applauded. Macca walked over to each band member and handed them popcorn. Paul reached back into the box to take a last handful and winked at the man before he handed him back the popcorn box. It appeared that Paul and the band didn't actually eat the popcorn.

A woman yelled out, "You're the man Paul!!!" at the opportune time when the audience was quiet. Paul responded with a, "Thank you!" (Congrats to Michelle Ballard)

Macca talked about the Discovery crew showing up at last night's concert and spoke of waking up the International Space Station astronauts at the Anaheim show, "You forget they're still up there. Like sharks sleeping at the bottom of the sea."

Paul said there was a "very special guest in the audience" and gave a shout-out to his cousin Keith and his family from Liverpool. Keith now lives in Texas. The audience didn't respond right away due to the muffled sound quality at the venue. Paul persisted, "Come on, this is my cousin from Liverpool, everyone. Let's hear it for him!" The audience gave a round of applause and Paul said to Keith, "You owe me drink at New Years!"

Wix said, "Everything in Texas is bigger, including the hangovers."

Rusty flipped over his Firebird guitar to show "THANKX" written on the back after, ''Too Many People."

Throughout the show Paul kept pulling up his jeans which kept sliding down.

When Brian was introduced, he asked the audience to wish a happy birthday to the guy who hands him his guitars. The audience, on cue, said, "Happy Birthday, Sid."

Paul and band feigned shell-shock at the end of "Live and Let Die," humorously plugging their ears with their fingers. Paul did apologetic gestures and mocked the crowd.

For the last encore, Brian had came out with the Texas State flag, and Abe had a pirate flag with a skull and crossbone on it. Paul waved the American flag over the front row where people reached out to touch it.

There were very few 'lights in the audience' during "Let It Be."

At the end of the show people started throwing several things onstage. One was a blue monkey which Paul caught. Paul signed six or seven items but as he was signing, a dozen albums were tossed. Luckily one was deflected by the microphone stand or it would have hit Paul in the head. He gestured "no more."

Macca picked up a beautiful bouquet of flowers which was wrapped in Union Jack paper and ribbons. He held it up for all to see. Someone threw a magenta cowboy hat (derby) that landed on the stage. Paul tripped over it. Abe picked it up, put it on his head, and walked across the stage in his best cowboy swagger, to the delight of the audience.

Autographed by Paul:

A pink Beatles Disk-Go 45 rpm case (Congrats to the Glinskys who were offered a cool $1,000 for it on the way out, but turned it down. Some things are priceless. A Beatles '65 album was signed and two CD's

Signs in the audience:

"Remembering Linda. L.I.L.Y" (with a picture of Paul and Linda) acknowledged by Paul who looked the sign holder in the eye and gave the thumbs up (Congrats to Laura Dever). "Rusty Rocks,"
"Y'all rock!" "Paul lick me!" "Let's Get McNaked!" "I Came Back From Hamburg to See You," acknowledged by Paul who said, "...and I'm glad you did!" "I (heart ) Scousers!" "Absolutely (heart ) Chaos & Creation, Bless You," "Heather's my hero," "Save a horse, ride Paul." "Event parking $20.00-T-shirt $35.00-Ticket to get in $2500.00-Getting to see Paul McCartney in concert: Priceless!" acknowledged by Paul with a shrug of his hand as if to say, '"Wow, too much, man!" "Froggo Rocks" acknowledged by Paul during 'Too Many People' and his 'peradventure' word lesson. "TWEE - the next Big thing?" which Paul stopped to read smiling at the sign holders and "We REALLY LOVE Y'ALL" acknowledged by the everyone and especially Brian, during 'The End' jam. (Congrats to Sherry Childress and Charles Heard for all three signs). "Your music gets me Hi Hi Hi!" "Beatles Fab-4-Ever" (Beatles logo from Ringo's drumhead) Paul gave that one got a nod! (Congrats to Lisa Tonguis)

After the show, Paul and the band headed to the private airport at Love Field, Dallas in the tour bus. Paul got out and signed for about 25 fans who were lined up by security.

November 23 - Phoenix, AZ - Glendale Arena

Paul's private jet landed around 5:30 pm at the Phoenix airport. Macca signed autographs for nine people including a little girl who was waiting with her parents, and eight other fans. As his motorcade was leaving the airport gate, he saw the little girl and stopped to sign an autograph for her. Then he signed one autograph for each of the six fans. Paul made it a point to sign for everyone. He even stopped the motorcade again because the nineth person hadn't gotten one yet. (read more)

While he signed, one of his cameramen came out to videotape along with several security guards to keep things under control.

Paul arrived at the Glendale Arena at 6 pm. There were about a dozen fans waiting. As he drove by a fan held a sign that read "From Milwaukee to Phoenix, You are my high school graduation gift. Thank you. Eunice." He looked at the sign and waved. (Congrats to Eunice and her mom Violetta) The car drove into the venue and Paul went directly to the sound check. When the venue doors were opened the sound check was in progress and fans were able to hear "Lady Madonna."

Songs heard at the sound check:

"Matchbox," "Honey Don't," "Coming Up," "All My Loving," "A Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On," "Celebration," "Things We Said Today, " "Midnight Special," "How Kind of You," unidentified song with Paul singing, "Ooh-be-do-be-do...," "Lady Madonna."

Freelance Hellraiser started at 8:18 pm. He changed his set list with the addition of "Rockshow" played from start to finish. Also cover versions of "Eleanor Rigby" and "Get Back" were heard. The preshow was more lively and got a good response from the audience.

There was a glitch at the beginning of the preshow film. The WWII bombers and the opening title "James Paul McCartney" were missing. Paul's birth certificate was shown first.

Paul took the stage at 8:50 pm. The majority of Phoenix crowd preferred to sit and didn't get going until the last half of the show. The first couple of rows were apparently filled with guests of the tour sponsors Lexus and Fidelity, who were holding gift bags. After "Magical Mystery Tour," they all sat down.

Before "Let Me Roll It," Paul introduced Abe who wished everyone an early Thanksgiving.

Paul appeared to stumble like he tripped over something on the stage. He didn't fall.

The "Foxey Lady" jam came after "Let Me Roll It." There was no "Baby Face" intro to "Hey Jude."

Paul told the audience, "Got to get you into my life tonight!" right after the song. He also called the Phoenix crowd, "Phoenicians."

Rusty read a fortune cookie which said: "Happiness accompanies you... in bed."

When Paul talked about the signs, he read one that said, "All We Need Is Paul" and read the imaginary sign, "My mother saw you at Candlestick Park." Paul kept looking at a sign that a couple women were holding which they wanted him to read. He did his "too hot" gesture and said off mike "that's too hot." The next time he played the piano he said that if he messed things up, it would be their fault!

Some people yelled out, "I LOVE YOU!" a couple of times and Paul answered them both times with, "I love you too!" A guy yelled, "Rock 'n' Roll" and Paul replied, "Yeah, rock n' roll man!" and everybody laughed.

"I'll Follow The Sun" had four reprises and an intro of "one, two, three and a bit." (as in Dallas).

Paul made mention of his 'other children' when he dedicated "Follow Me" to "...my wife, my baby daughter who just turned two, and the rest of my kids."

From "She Came in Through the Bathroom Window" on, the crowd did not sit down. Just after "Band on the Run" Paul said to Brian, "I love this!"

During the jet engines at the beginning of "Back in the USSR," Paul turned his back to the crowd, put his arms out to his sides and simulated 'airplane wings.' He did a wing waggle and a bum wiggle.

Autographed by Paul:

Two tour programs, a "With the Beatles" album jacket, an "Imagine" Amnesty International poster (Congrats to Lauren Russell), and an article of clothing that he jokingly sniffed, wrinkling up his nose in disgust!

In the house:

David Spade (sitting in the fourth row on the floor) and Alice Cooper.

Signs in the audience:

"George, John, Linda, Always," "You Have Please Pleased Us," "It's My Birthday - Blow a Kiss," (read Holly Chamberlin's story below) "Paul Ramon," "Greetings from Earth (heart symbol) Paul," a Liverpool football banner, "England," "The Glastonbury Three - You Rock Our World" acknowledged by Paul who pointed to the sign, smiled, gave a thumbs up with his right hand, and said "thank you" which was audible on mike. (Congrats to Pam Walker and Mike and Carol Dagger)

After the Phoenix concert, 30+ fans waited at the airport but Paul didn't stop or sign. He flew back to Los Angeles with the band.

Here's the story about Alexa Harrison, (as told by her father Todd) who got Paul's attention at the Phoenix airport and his autograph.

The night before the show, myself along with my wife, Candy, and my daughter, Alexa (7 years old), made a custom shirt (white with "I love Paul, US Tour 05" with hearts all over). The shirt turned out great and Alexa wore it.

We arrived at Phoenix Airport to find the Lexus motorcade waiting on the airstrip. There was only one way out of the airport and Paul's car would have to pass us. There were about seven other fans there and we were all excited with the anticipation of seeing Paul.

Paul's head of security, Mark Hamilton, was checking out the fans and we started talking to him. He was so very nice and loved Alexa's shirt. He told us Paul would be coming out, and to wait by the gate.

About eight minutes later, the motorcade with police escort came towards us. Paul was in the first Lexus with his assistant ,John Hammel. We made sure the three of us were "right there in front" and the other fans were behind us. Paul motioned to the driver to stop and the first thing that struck me was how great he looked in person. Unbelievable! With the longer hair he looked very cool. Candy and I picked up my daughter and showed Paul the shirt. I told him that we worked on it last night. He seemed 'wowed' by the shirt and my daughter.

Candy had on a "no more land mines" T-shirt and I had on a tour T-shirt. I told Paul that "Chaos" was awesome and thanked him for the tour. Then the fans who were behind us pushed themselves in front of my daughter and asked for autographs. Paul signed an LP for one of them and said to me, "Let the little one in. Let the little one in." So I grabbed Alexa and picked her up so Paul could see her.

He signed our "High in the Clouds" book and a tour program. Paul was totally cool, and seemed blown away by Alexa and our enthusiasm. He was awesome!

Fan story: Paul blow me a kiss!

I went to the Phoenix concert wearing a homemade t-shirt that said "IT'S MY BIRTHDAY" on the front and "I (heart) Paul" on the back. For the last two-thirds of the concert, between songs when the lights came up on the audience, I held up my very large banner in the aisle in hopes that Paul would see it. It said, "IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! BLOW A KISS?" People around me were wonderful. They were so patient with my huge banner and were so encouraging. Every time another song started and I ran back to my spot, they would say, "Keep trying!" A few of them even tried to help me out, yelling, "Paul, look over here!" I didn't want to hold it up during the songs because I didn't want to block the show from anyone, and I didn't think it would be visible. I kept trying and trying, but no good. Finally, after one song, I glanced at Rusty, who saw my sign and blew a kiss! Yay! But Paul still didn't see it, so I kept trying.

As the show progressed my chances of getting my banner seen were getting slimmer. Then, during "Hey Jude", Paul got up from the piano and started "directing" the audience through the "na-na-na's." The lights came up on the audience and Paul was looking around and I thought, "Sorry people behind me! Don't hate me!" and up went my banner. PAUL SAW IT! He blew me a huge flamboyant kiss. I went crazy. All the ladies around me went crazy and the people around us said, "Did you see THAT? He blew you a KISS!" and we screamed, Beatlemania-style. Next thing I know, I was on the video screen! I turned around so the back of my shirt was showing. I checked over my shoulder, and "I (heart) Paul" was visible above the band.Yay!

When "Hey Jude" was over, Sir Paul looked right at me and blew ANOTHER KISS! Same reaction. And then at the end of the set, before the first encore as the band was leaving the stage, Paul looked at me again and blew ANOTHER KISS!

I freaked out! Brian blew me a kiss also, and Rusty waved. It was so much fun! All the ladies sitting near me gave me hugs and tons of people were leaving their seats to congratulate me and wish me happy birthday. Paul really has the best fans in the world. I've never had so many people tell me happy birthday!

Thanks Paul, for the best 22nd birthday ever, and thanks, seat neighbors, for being so patient with my obnoxious banner. (Congrats to Holly Chamberlin)

November 25 - Las Vegas, NV - MGM Grand Garden Arena

Paul and the band flew in late on Friday from Los Angeles where they spent Thanksgiving. They performed to a sellout crowd of 14,500 at the MGM Grand. The arena is smaller than other venues played on this tour.

Macca was in great voice though his voice cracked again on "Jenny Wren." He had lots of energy and didn't seem to tire towards the end of the show. Paul did silly little dances between numbers. He dressed in his usual blue jeans, black jacket with maroon lapels, black vinyl Beatles boots and a turquoise long sleeved T-shirt.

DJ Hellraiser started off the show to a lukewarm reception. His beginning set had some fantastic covers and then he played the Twin Freaks mash-ups. The baby boomer generation of non-Paul fans became restless, while the younger concertgoers enjoyed the mash-ups.

The Las Vegas crowd for the most part was more reserved and stayed in their seats for the first half of the concert. "Live and Let Die," knocked them off their rockers.

Once again, there were young female model-types 'posing' as fans in the first few rows.

Paul welcomed the locals and included those from out of town, "Greetings Las Vegas... and wherever else you came from."

Paul did the "Baby Face" intro to "Hey Jude" but no "Foxey Lady" jam after "Let Me Roll It."

Rusty read a fortune cookie that said, "You are a special person with special gifts... in bed."

There were many 'pink' glowsticks raised in Linda's memory during "Maybe I'm Amazed."

Paul told the story about Quarrymen member "Duff" hoarding the very first recording they ever made; "In Spite of All the Danger." When Paul said, "Duff kept it for 23 years!" someone in the audience yelled "YEAH!" To which Paul replied, "Duff is that you?" That got a good laugh.

Venue security discouraged people from bringing in their signs, though a few made it in. Paul had to use his 'standby' imaginary sign when he told his story after "Jenny Wren."

"I see these signs fans bring to the show and I don't want to look, especially with a new song. I'm concentrating on the chords, on the lyrics ... focus, focus, focus. But there's a little voice that says, 'Go ahead! Look at the sign!' So I look at the sign and it says, 'My Mom Saw You At Candlestick Park in 1966.'"

Paul deviated from his scripted banter to customize it for the Vegas crowd. He told the "peradventure" word story after "English Tea" saying, "I checked the dictionary to make sure it was really a word... So impress your friends! Go out to the casino... peradventure red, peradventure black."

"I'll Follow the Sun" had five reprises even though the crew had bets that Paul would break his record and do more.

When Paul asked the audience for a "moment of appreciation" for John, George, and Linda, everyone who was sitting down stood up and gave a huge cheer with applause. Paul, emotionally moved by the reaction, got a little choked up and teary-eyed. He put his fist over his heart and mouthed "thank you."

When "Follow Me" finished he dedicated it to, "...my wife, my baby daughter who just turned two, and all my other kids." Heather was not seen in the audience.

Paul spread his 'airplane wings' at the beginning of "Back In The USSR" and shook his butt to the audience as he seesawed with his arms towards the back of the stage.

In the middle of the second encore Paul mentioned that it was getting close to the time for everybody to go home. The entire audience groaned and did a collective "Oh man!"

When the concert was over Paul congratulated one of his crew members who was getting married. He wished them a very happy life together and the crowd gave them a standing ovation.

Girl Gone Wild! Macca 'flashed' at Las Vegas show

As Paul played "Please Please Me" a woman in the front row flashed her bare breasts at him. McCartney was so surprised his jaw dropped. The woman who is a model, 'flashed' Macca also at the Denver show, but he didn't see her.

She was invited backstage to meet Paul before the Vegas show. The woman was given a front row center seat and flashed McCartney as the video crew captured his shocked expression for an upcoming DVD of the tour.

More about her story:

She sent an email about herself and was 'selected' to be in the upcoming DVD.

Autographed by Paul:

A "Ram" album (Congrats to Mike Kovacich of Macca-Central), a "Help!" album, "A Hard Day's Night" album, a "Chaos" collectible sold at the venue and several more items.

Signs in the audience:

"Sir Paul: We Still Love You And We'll Still Need You When You're 64," "Paul McCartney Rd.," "John Lennon Rd.," "I came all the way from Tennessee. Say 'Hi Becca'!" "My husband said I can kiss you!" acknowledged by Paul who pointed to the sign holder.

November 26 - Las Vegas, NV - MGM Grand Garden Arena

Security at the arena took away large signs on the way in and were strict on cameras. During the first couple of songs two women in the front row right under Paul's mic got ejected from the arena for taking flash photos. They were blatantly shooting photos of themselves with Paul in the background and photos of Paul. Macca seemed annoyed with the flashes and security came by and told them to stop. They ignored the warnings and were removed. Their seats were filled by friends of Brian Ray.

Freelance Hellraiser got on just after 8 pm with Paul arriving onstage at 8:40 pm. Paul wore the black jacket with black lapels, black corduroy pants and the turquoise long-sleeved T-shirt. He was very energetic, playful and interactive with the audience. The crowd was more reserved though better than the first night. Those sitting in the first couple of rows preferred to stay seated throughout the concert. Toward the second half of the show people were on their feet rocking.

After "Drive My Car" Macca paused to "drink this all in" and walked around the stage raising his arms up to acknowledge the cheering audience.

Tonight the band did the "Foxy Lady" jam after "Let Me Roll It" but there was no "Baby Face" intro for "Hey Jude."

When Abe was introduced he asked the audience, "Are you winning?" and then said, "Well you are tonight." That got a huge applause.

Paul sounded hoarse when he spoke and his voice cracked a few times on "Jenny Wren," but he sang well the rest of the evening.

When Paul talked about seeing signs in the audience, a fan stood on a chair with a sign that said, "JAYJAY Loves Paul." Macca pointed to the sign and said, "there's one right there!" (Congrats to Janet Jones)

During "I Will" Paul had a minor chord flub, but recovered nicely.

When Paul demonstrated the J.S. Bach piece he messed it up twice before he got it right. The crowd cheered him on.

There were five" reprises of "I'll Follow The Sun."

Paul dedicated "Follow Me" to "my wife, my baby daughter who just turned two, and all my other kids." Heather was not seen in the audience nor the 'other' macca children.

During "Let It Be" there were a group of fans holding candles and four holding pink glow sticks. Paul acknowledged them several times during the song with nods and waves. He bowed to the fans at the end of the song putting the palms of his hands together in a prayer gesture.

Several items were thrown onstage for Paul to autograph. He spotted a fan with a Paul doll and encouraged her to toss it onstage, but she didn't throw it. Someone threw a "Ram" album which Paul signed and said, "Everyone loves 'Ram' these days." He tossed back the album which was caught by a fan who refused to give the album to the rightful own but finally relented under peer pressure from angry fans.

In the house:

Denny Laine seen backstage in the band room (he did not have a meeting with Paul). Laine sat up front near the stage for the show.

Autographed by Paul:

A program and a bass guitar cutout.

Signs in the audience:

"Peradventure We Might Play" which Paul read out loud, "Thx Paul," "The Glastonbury Three - Macca -You're Our Jackpot." acknowledged by Paul with a smile and wave at the end of "Flaming Pie" (Congrats to Mike and Carol Dagger). "Moon us," Paul shook his head and finger with a "no, no, no" to that sign (Congrats to Diane Genz)."No More Landmines," "Oobu Joobu," "The Glastonbury Three - Make it a Beautiful Night," and several "Follow Me" signs.

Paul did not stay at the MGM, but the band and crew did. All checked out of their hotels prior to the Saturday show and flew to Los Angeles after the concert.

Paul arrived early around 4:10 pm to a small crowd of fans. The lexus entourage turned into a gated entrance about 25 feet away from the fans. Paul waved and gave the thumbs up as he went by.

Songs heard at the sound check (in order):

"Honey Hush," "Honey Don't," "Coming Up," new song with Paul singing "hey, hey, hey...," "All My Loving," "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On," "Lady Madonna," "Celebration," "C Moon," "Friends To Go," "Midnight Special," "Things, We Said Today," "San Francisco Bay Blues," another new song, "Lady Madonna" with a brief intro sung like from the version from "Chaos and Creation at Abbey Road." Then the song segued into the regular version. It ended and was started over again (regular version).

DJ Freelance Hellraiser opened the show with the Twin Freaks version of "Maybe I'm Amazed" and more cover versions of Beatles songs. He went over very well with the trendy Los Angeles crowd.

Pandemonium broke loose when Paul and the band appeared onstage around 8:55 pm. Paul wore the black jacket with maroon lapels, tighter grayish-blue jeans that were a better fit and the turquoise long-sleeved T-shirt.

The audience gave him a standing ovation. As typical of the LA audience - which was filled with industry people and high-profiled types - most of the floor stayed seated during the show. Just the first 10 rows stood throughout. Most people sat during the slower numbers like "Jenny Wren," "Fixing A Hole" and "Blackbird."

After "Flaming Pie" Paul said, "Welcome Los Angeles! We have a come a long way to rock you and rock you we will!"

The audience was still on their feet for "Jet" which rocked. Paul noticed and said, "Yeah!... a little bit of fun..."

When "Drive My Car" finished, Paul gave the crowd the 'peace sign.'

During "Till There was You," the female fans were treated to Paul doing his hip wiggle-cha-cha at the song's break. He said, "All right, there you are... there's a smoochie for you."

Abe said, "Hello Los Angeles. What a nice noise you guys make. Are you guys read to ROOOOCCCCK?"

When Paul started, "Let Me Roll It" he counted out, "One, two, three, FOUR!" Just before the song's break, he let out a rock and roll scream and danced in place wiggling his hips.

Abe tossed his drumstick high in the air and caught it just as the band went into the "Foxey Lady" jam. At the end of the song Paul held the Les Paul guitar horizontally over his head as the audience cheered. He handed it to John Hammel along with his jacket and then turned to wave to the crowd.

"Before the piano mysteriously rises from the bowels of the earth, there's a big hole and I fell into it the second show of this tour." Paul continued, "I forgot there was a big hole." The audience collectively sighed with "Aaaww." "No it's not for sympathy," explained Paul "... I'm just telling you..."

Paul was just about to start "Fine Line" when he realized he had forgotten to introduce Rusty. He made the introduction and Rusty addressed the crowd with, "There's no place like home." Rusty mentioned that he had friends in the audience and called them "friendly troublemakers." Then he opened a fortune cookie. "This fortune applies individually and collectively. Daily number is 106." [crowd laughs] "Wish you a long life... in bed."

Paul finished "Fine Line" and plugged the new album. "Thank you. That song was called 'Fine Line' and it's off our new album which is called "Chaos And Creation In The Back Yard."

After "The Long And Winding Road" Paul bowed and said, "Thank you, lovely people. Great crowd! Wonderful!" and mouthed "we love you." That drew cheers. Then Paul made a soft high-pitched scream.

Paul welcomed everyone to his "living room" for the acoustic set and told the story about the first record he ever made with the Quarry Men.

"John kept it for a week." The crowd screamed wildly. Paul's eyes bugged out with surprise at the audience's reaction. He repeated, "John kept it for a week." The audience went nuts again. Paul smirked.

"George kept it for a week". [audience screams] Paul said very quickly, "I kept it for a week... and gave it to Duff." The audience continued to scream.

"Duff kept it for 23 years!" The audience booed. "Yeah, exactly," said Paul. "Anyway..."

Then he gestured with his index finger, a record going around on a turntable. "It sounded like this..." [makes scratchy noise with mouth]. The audience laughed. "Thank you," said Paul. "And there's a bit in it for you..." He explained the audience participation part and began "In Spite Of All The Danger."

At the end of the song he said, "And John kept for a week!" The audience screamed and Paul laughed.

Just before "I Will" Heather moved from her mezzanine seat and sat down on a cushion in the photo pit in front of Paul. She left after the acoustic set.

Paul told the "I Will" story of going to a Mexican restaurant in Pasadena (Mijares) on a Saturday night. "You know the one," said Paul. "The place was steaming and grooving..."

He talked about declining a drink from a man who said his daughter "the apple of my eye," had performed the song perfectly at a high school recital. "That's why we do it in the show, " explained Paul. Then referring to the man, he said the next time he sees him he will have that drink. "I think I'll have it BUDDY!"

When Paul began "Jenny Wren" the audience sat in silent awe. He sang it very softly and well until his voice cracked hitting a high note. He finished the song with no other problems. The audience gave him a big cheer. "OK!" he said.

Paul talked about signs in the audience. He said the usual story about being distracted by the signs. "On a new song like that, ["Jenny Wren"] you are trying to concentrate." Then he read the imaginary sign, "My Mom Saw You At Candlestick Park." Paul praised the audience and said, "We love the signs you know and If anything goes wrong, I'm gonna blame it on the signs!" [Paul tinkers on the piano and screams, "Woo-woo-woo!"]

After "For No One" Paul rested his elbows on the piano and acknowledged the audience applause with a "Thank YOU!"

The audience liked "English Tea" and when the song finished, Paul punched the air with a 'power fist' and said, "All right!"

Paul talked about the word "peradventure" and how the usage of the word was "sweeping America." He made a suggestion that it be used to "amaze your friends." Then he pointed to a sign and said, "Like the sign over there. Peradventure no more land mines. I like it." (Congrats to Toni Johnson)

"I'll Follow the Sun" had four reprises and after the third one Paul teased the audience with a "OH..." He waited as Abe and the fans egged him on before he did the last one.

Paul dedicated "Follow Me" to "my lovely wife and beautiful baby who just turned two and all my other beautiful children." There were several "Follow Me" and "Follow Me Paul" signs held up during the song. Paul looked at the sign holders as he sang. At the song's end he said, "Thank you for the 'Follow Me' signs."

Macca talked briefly about the early days in LiverpooI. "I used to sit around a lot with George who lived one bus stop away from me..." The audience cheered. Then he asked for a moment of appreciation for "our dear departed loved ones, John, George and Linda." (he said 'Linda' very clearly) Paul stood with his arms raised as the audience applauded for what seemed like a minute or longer. Paul took a few steps and looked out into the arena. Everyone was on their feet. It was a very emotional moment for Paul and the audience.

Next was the J.S Bach story and Paul exaggerated the 'ch' sound which drew some laughs. As he said the name "J.S. Bach" people screamed. He mentioned playing 'folky stuff' and learning the Bach piece with George to impress people. Then he played the piece and demonstrated the chord that was played wrong by him and George. That chord change inspired "Blackbird." After he played "Blackbird" he said, "Thank you J.S. Bacccckkk."

Wix talked about living in California years ago, and said that he's been in Los Angeles for a couple of weeks now "and it feels like home except for the weather."

Paul launched into "Too Many People" saying "This is for all the Wings fans." Many people did the Wings sign during the song.

After "She Came In Through The Bathroom Window," Paul did a hip wiggle.

For "Good Day Sunshine" Paul talked about the shuttle astronauts and at the end of the song turned his back to the audience and waved to the astronauts projected on the video screen. He then talked about getting that film to use in the show and hooking up live to the International Space Station during the Anaheim show. "It was kinda magic" he said. "They are still up there, like sharks sleeping on the bottom of the sea." Then Paul made a face like "what the h*ll did I just say?" and shook his head like "don't listen to me."

Brian Ray said, "How are you doing LA? It's great to be here in my hometown..." Then he acknowledged the fans in the nosebleed sections all around the arena.

Paul forgot the words to the second line of "Penny Lane" singing "...of every head [mumble] pleasure to know." After the song he did his familiar "Ow-ooooooo!" and waved his bass above his head.

Macca turned his back on the audience and put out his arms briefly to simulate airplane wings when "Back in the USSR" started. After the song he said, "You little rockers, you... Those Ruskies love to rock..." Then referring to the Russians spraying the clouds to stop the rain, he said, "Spooky but true... the vether vill be goot!"

"Hey Jude" did not have the "Baby Face" intro, however, when Paul finished the song he did an unexpected reprise of the "na, na, nahs." The crowd went nuts. Paul smiled and did his 'girly pose'.

"Live and Let Die" had louder blasts of pyrotechnics. Paul and the band pantomimed with their fingers in their ears after the song with Paul gesturing an apology for the loudness.

Just before the band left the stage they waved to the crowd and bowed holding hands. Wix who was standing behind Paul, put his arms through Paul's waist and did the 'finger wiggle' with him. The band walked from one side of the stage to other waving before they left the stage

For the encore Paul came out onstage punching the air in a mock fist fight. He performed "Yesterday" and and said, "Thank you. You're a great crowd. Thank you. This Epiphone is the guitar I used on the Ed Sullivan show. It's goes back before my time."

After "Get Back" Paul did a little dance and said, "I have a feeling you want to keep rockin'." Then he launched into "Helter Skelter." On the floor, in the center front two rows, were a group of 'headbangers' who banged their way through the song. They banged their heads in unison to the beat.

Before they left stage, the band gathered and held hands as they did the side-step shuffle. Paul purposely moved in the opposite direction bumping into the rest of the band.

For the last encore Paul came out wearing the red "no more land mines" T-shirt written in script, and carried the American flag. Rusty had the California Stage flag and Abe had a pirate flag.

After "Let It Be" Paul said, "It's getting to be that time when we have to go, which strangely coincides with YOU having to go." [crowd boos] "You've shown us a great welcome back to Callifornia. You've been very kind."

Macca thanked the crew and the band. Then said," I want to thank... our intrepid DJ Freelance Hellraiser, Roy, who's done a great job... And most of all I want to thank you."

After "Sgt. Pepper/The End" Paul said, "Hey LA as usual you have been a super group. See ya next time!"

Items were throw on the stage with one album hitting Paul in the leg.

Autographed by Paul:

A "Chaos and Creation.." vinyl album (Congrats to Bob and Marion Farmer), and a few other items.

In the house:

Gene Simmons (Kiss) sitting with his model wife, Shannon Tweed and his two kids (Simmons stood the entire show but did not sing-along with Paul), Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, Lindsey Buckingham (Fleetwood Mac), Alan Thicke and his wife, John Cussack who Heather was hanging out with for part of the show. She was sitting in the mezzanine (Section 119, seat 1, row 8) to the side of the stage as were some of the celebs.

Signs in the audience:

"She's not the brightest of buttons" acknowledge by Paul with a laugh (Congrats to harleyblues). "I SAW YOU-HOLLYWOOD BOWL 1964,"(this sign had mini blinking lights on the top), "WE LOVE YOU PAUL," "FOLLOW ME," "I WANT TO HOLD YOUR HAND."

After the show there was a backstage 'end of the tour' party that lasted into the early morning hours.

About 50 fans were waiting for Paul Lexus to arrive. Paul's video crew took the opportunity to videotape the fans singing, "English Tea" and showing off their signs. Just before Paul's car arrived at 5:30pm a SUV pulled out of the driveway and waited for the light to change. Just then Paul's Lexus arrived and the SUV blocked the fans from seeing the car as it turned into the adjacent driveway. Fans screamed at the driver to move and she didn't. Then fans started running frantically around the SUV to try and see Paul. Paul leaned out the window and waved to the fans oblivious to what had just transpired. His car never slowed down.

Songs heard at the sound check (in order):

"Matchbox," "Honey Don't," new song, same as night before (with lyrics, "Hey, hey, hey, hey baby tonight, hey baby today...), "Coming Up," "C Moon," "Celebration," "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On," "Friends To Go," "How Kind Of You," "Midnight Special," "San Francisco Bay Blues," new song (same as night before), "Lady Madonna," (funky version from Abbey Road "Chaos" special).

The sound check ran late and the doors were not opened until 7pm. People were lined up outside waiting to get in. Staples security went out of their way to keep fans away from the doors where the sound check could be heard more clearly. They made up stories that it was a fire hazard to stand 'outside' the doors and that Paul didn't want anyone to hear the sound check. Fortunately, an employee door remained open and security there didn't care if the fans gathered to listen.

The show started at 8:25 pm with Freelance Hellraiser donning the green Twin Freaks mask, which he has been wearing since the Denver show (November 1). The mix was the same and the audience response was positive.

Just before Hellraiser got onstage there was a commotion in the mezzanine to the right of the stage as Jack Nicholson wearing his signature sunglasses, made a grand entrance. He sat down in the front row of the section closest to the stage. To his left was an incognito Nick Nolte wearing a hat.

The audience was on it's feet when Paul appeared onstage at 8:52 pm. He wore the black jacket with black lapels, black corduroy pants and a turquoise long sleeved -T shirt. Macca was playful and interactive with the crowd which was more enthusiastic then the previous night. The front section on the main floor stood for most of the show, while the rows behind sat.

During "Magical Mystery Tour" the crowd was going nuts. When the song finished, Paul did his "You're too HOT!" gesture.

After "Flaming Pie" Paul said, "Greetings Los Angeles. Greetings California... Since this is the last night of our tour I just want to take a moment to drink this all in." The crowd cheered as Paul stared out into the arena for almost a minute.

During the break in "Drive My Car" Paul played to one side of the stage moving right up to the edge. After the song he yelled "Woo-HOO!"

After "Till There Was You," Paul talked about going to a guitar store in Liverpool to learn more fancy guitar chords. He said there was a guy there "who knew more chords than you," and said the guy's name. "I can mention him now, because it's the last night and I don't care."

When Abe was introduced he said,"Hi Mom! Hi Dad! All my friends are here tonight."

"Let Me Roll It" had the "Foxey Lady" jam with Paul doing a little hop and dance during the song.

Paul counted "One, two, three, four!" before the start of "Got To Get You Into My Life."

Macca told the piano pit story and gave Rusty the 'finger wiggle' when he introduced him. Rusty said, "All the guys on this stage are my brothers..." He referred to Macca as "my friend Paul." Rusty's fortune cookie said: "You will always get what you want free of charge... in bed."

After "The Long And Winding Road" Heather was escorted from her mezzanine seat into the photo pit in front of Paul.

Paul began the solo set and told the "In Spite Of All The Danger" story. "Duff kept it for 23 years! Just kidding Duff! That's allegedly for 23 years in case there are any lawyers in the audience. And there will be lawyers in the audience because this is LA!"

Paul sang "Jenny Wren" flawlessly. People stood and applauded.

"This is the last show... and I see familiar faces in the audience," said Paul scanning the crowd. He mentioned the signs and how they distract him and then read the imaginary sign, "My Mother Saw You At Candlestick Park."

After "Fixing A Hole" Paul got up from the piano and played a little 'air guitar.'

"English Tea" went over very well and at it's end Paul smiled and curtseyed to Heather in the pit.

He talked about the word "peradventure" and 100 people from the Fan Asylum tour group held up signs that said "Peradventure No More Land Mines." Paul read the sign and seemed overwhelmed by the numbers of fans holding the sign. He said, "Nice" then joked, "I said we'd bring that word back."

"I'll Follow the Sun" had four reprises.

During "Follow Me" there were close to 50 "Follow Me, Paul" signs. When Paul finished the song he said, "Hey, thank you, thank you. There's a conspiracy afoot. WHO gave out all these signs? Tell me! Ok." Paul looked at the signs and said, "And I WILL follow YOU! [laughs] "That's great. Thank you. That's lovely, very nice, much appreciated. Thank you very much. All right. That's 'Follow Me' ...that's another new song, Ok."

Before Paul played "Blackbird" he told a new story about he and George traveling around Liverpool to find a guy to teach them the B7 chord which was a difficult chord to learn. Paul demonstrated the chord and played the J.S. Bach piece. He explained that the song was really classical but he and George made it "semi-classical" because they didn't play it right half the time. He joked, "We made it that way. We didn't go wrong. It was a rewrite!" Then he played "Blackbird."

Paul pointed to a sign and said, "Speaking of signs, there's one I have to acknowledge... It's Carmen's 30th birthday, so happy birthday Carmen!" Paul sang in a low-key voice a speeded up version of Happy Birthday. (Congrats to Carmen Rodriguez)

Rusty picked up his guitar after "Eleanor Rigby" and flipped it to it's back so people could see "THANKX" written on it.

Paul asked the audience, "Are you having a good time?" They screamed "YES!"

Wix was introduced by Paul as "our musical director when we listen to him." Wix said that he "keeps order here with the help of one of these." He pulled out a clipboard. "DO WHAT I SAY!" he shouted. Then he told about the wild end of the tour party last night that went until 4 am. "Nobody got in trouble," he said grinning.

Paul screwed up the second line to "Too Many People." He sang, "Too many people waiting for a lucky break" instead of "Too many people reaching for a piece of cake." He looked around chuckling to himself and when he sang the line, "That was your first mistake..." he pointed to himself laughing.

Right after "Too Many People" Heather was escorted out of the photo pit by her body guard Missy.

On the line "and so I quit the police department..." Paul looked right Bob Gannon (a New York policeman - Congrats to Bob!) The crowd was still on their feet when Paul ended, "She Came In Through The Bathroom Window." Paul screamed, "OW-Ooooooo!" and the audience screamed back.

Just before "Good Day Sunshine" Paul was rearranging some Teddy bears propped up on the amp behind him. He put two of them together horizontally, face to face, one on top of the other, and left them that way.

Paul talked about meeting the space shuttle astronauts and performing the live wake-up call to the International Space Station. He said that one of the astronauts is a "big fan" and actually plays guitar.

Brian thanked friends in the audience by name and thanked "people who have come before to several shows."

During "I've Got a Feeling" Abe and Wix donned Beatles wigs. Abe had on a blonde wig and Wix had on a black one. About halfway through the song Paul happened to turn around and saw them. He cracked up and pointed at them.

Paul turned his back on the audience and did a hip wiggle and an 'airplane waggle with his arms as the sounds of the jet engines played at the beginning of "Back In The USSR." The audience was rocking hard on the song and Paul said, "Thank you. You are a rockin' bunch!"

Before "Hey Jude" Paul did the "Baby Face" teaser intro. He said, "Here's a little song you might all want to join in on... Baby face, you've got the cutest little baby face...." He sang a few bars and stopped the song saying, "no, no, no, nooo! That's not the one." Then he began "Hey Jude." When the song ended he said, "I can't stop this thing," and did a reprise!

After "Live and Let Die" the band bowed and Paul jumped on Abe's back and rode piggy-back as they exited the stage. Macca waved and blew kisses to the fans.

After "Yesterday" Paul did a 'hair bow.' He bowed and tugged on one of his bangs. He said, "This is the last night of our tour and we have had a fabulous time." The crowd cheered. Paul gave them the 'peace sign.'

After "Helter Skelter" fans in the fourth row held up a sign that said: "Glastonbury Three - Now Bankrupt But Very Happy!" Paul looked at the couple and reached deep into his pocket as if to offer them some money. He pulled out his empty hand and shrugged. (Congrats to Mike and Carol Dagger from Lancaster, England)

For the final encore Paul came onstage wearing the red "no more land mines" T-shirt and was waving the American flag. Brian had the California State flag. Mark Hamilton, Paul's chief of security, held a large Scottish flag (he's from Glasgow) in one hand, and a Wales flag in the other. He laughed as he waved them around the stage. Paul teased people in the front row by dipping his flag within reach and pulling it away.

After "Please Please Me" Paul said that it was Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones who suggested he sing that song in concert.

Paul took a moment to explain why he loves to perform. He said, "I meet people in the street who say 'your music has changed my life'. Being a musician it's one the most fantastic things when people give you that feedback. I can't tell you what a great feeling that is." There was a thunderous applause. Paul put his hand over his heart acknowledging the fans.

During "Let It Be" Heather led the tour crew through the open center aisles on the main floor. They all held long white lit candles and swayed in time to the music. The video crew pointed their cameras at the Heather who held her candle as a teary-eyed Paul sang the song. When the song was over Heather signed an autograph on Toni Johnson's "Peradventure No More Land Mines" sign and handed a Paul guitar pick to a fan who had a "NO KFC" sign. (Congrats to Richard Rodriguez, Jr.) Then Heather and the crew quickly departed.

Paul was emotional and choked up after the song. He took a moment to regain his composure. He explained that the people holding the candles were the tour crew who wanted to do something special since this was the last night of the tour. He said that they helped bring the show to life. "Thank you... see all the candles... these are all the people who work here every day. Thank you. It's a little bit emotional you know the last night ...so.. yeah... well... [Paul is fumbling to find the words because he's lost his composure and talks to himself] '...pulling yourself together' he said."

"OK This is the point where we've got to go home and it's very close to the time when you got to go home as well." [The audience boos their disapproval]

"As you can imagine we've got a lot of thank you's to do. This is for the whole tour... Paul thanked by name, people from the crew. "They are really cool people. So I want to hear it for the best crew in the world. We couldn't do it without them. [audience cheers]

"I have a special thank you here to these guys who have been with me all this time, my fantastic band! Oh, we've had some laughs on this tour. [giggles]

"It's really been a fantastic tour and it's really great to have all of you here on our last night to share this oneness. And you know we call it the "US" tour because it's about us as band. It's about us and you as an audience. It's about us like minded people who want to see a little bit of sense in this world of ours. You keep working on it and we'll keep working on it. We love you! [audience cheers] The biggest thank you comes from all of us to you."

"Sgt. Pepper Reprise" rocked the house. The guitar jam on "The End" was extended with the band trading off guitar licks, feverishly one upping each other as the jam progressed. Paul made faces as he power-riffed. He didn't want the concert to end. The jam continued for several more minutes until Paul raised his hand to signal it's end. The band took their final bows walking slowly from one side of the stage to the other to wave goodbye. Paul headed to the mic and said "See ya next time," as a barrage of items were thrown onstage.

He picked up a jacket that was thrown onstage and seem hesitant to sign it, but decided to and was laughing as he signed. Then he gestured for more stuff to be thrown. He signed a few more items, waved and left the stage with his arm around Rusty's waist.

Autographed by Paul:

A "CHOBA B CCCP" Russian album, a "Chaos" album, "Red Rose Speedway," "Live at the BBC" (Congrats to Jason Strope) and a jacket.

After the concert, when most had left the arena, Paul walked unexpectedly out on stage. The few fans that were there were in shock and screamed. Paul acknowledged them with smiles and waves. He looked out into the half empty arena one last time and promised, "We'll do this again soon."
